NO! CrossFit is suited for any age and ability level. Workouts will change in degree based on your current ability level. Every movement that we have can be scaled to fit YOUR specific needs.
YES! You are welcome to come into Hardbat and try a FREE class anytime you would like. We just ask that you stop by 10 minutes early to fill out a quick waiver.
We like to think of our gym membership as cheap personal training rather than an expensive gym membership. You will receive unbelievable quality coaching and will have someone watching over you every step fo the way to make sure you are safe.
YES! All of the classes listed on the website are for you to choose from! Every class is run the same way and does the same workout, you also do not need to stick to a certain class time and we even recommend you try out different class times to meet more people in our community and experience all of our coaches!
If you have been doing CrossFit for longer than a month and have already taken fundamentals at another CrossFit gym we do allow you to jump right into classes. However, based on watching your movement in class if we feel that you need to take our fundamentals course we will suggest that to you.
Classes always start with a general warm up where we just get the blood pumping and muscles warmed up, and then transition into a specific warm up where we go over and break down the specific movements for that particular workout. Once everyone can demonstrate proper technique and we are confident everyone is ready to go, we all begin the workout at the same time. After the workout is over we usually do some sort of a cool down or accessory exercise such as core work to finish out the hour.
